MONICA- Bey-Clarke -
After healing herself from a debilitating condition that left her with partial paralysis, among other ailments, Monica Bey was thrust into her life purpose as an International Healer. At the same time, she spent more than a decade of grit and hard work to climb from the bottom to the top of a publicly traded finance company, and she walked away from it all to pursue a more her life purpose. She now spends her time helping others transform to a life of purpose and empowerment as the Healer in Heels®.
Monica holds a bachelor’s degree in Social Science and is a Certified Life Coach, Certified Reiki Master, Certified Hypnotist, Psychic Medium and Metaphysics Expert. She is the founder of online university, Mystic University: A School for The Spiritually Gifted, and her newly launched network, Mystic Circle TV, has a mission to “demystify mysticism.” Monica is the former host of her own weekly segment on Rolling Out Magazine, ‘Ask Monica’, and a popular global podcast, ‘Life Mastery with Monica Bey.’
Monica is a RICE Awards Nominee for Health and Wellness, and has been featured in many major networks and publications, such as FOX, NBC, CBS & Comcast.
Transplants to Atlanta, GA, Cheril and Monica live with their two Shih Tzus: Foxy Roxy and Sasha (not so) Fierce.
We met in the fall of 2003! Cheril was performing poetry at an event hosted at The Center in NYC, and Monica happened to be in attendance. While collecting e-mail addresses for her mailing list, Cheril put a star next to Monica's contact info to remember who she was (it turns out Monica saw that), and we began chatting through AOL e-mail and AIM messenger. There were no smartphones back then! MySpace hadn't even started! haha It was a long time ago, but the years that have gone by don't feel long at all.
WHERE WE MET
In 2004, Cheril proposed to Monica at the historic Stonewall Inn.
We got married at Oheka Castle in Huntington, NY.
THROUGH THE YEARS
It's been full of love, life, adventure, typical life trials and triumphs (in sickness and in health is real)!
